This study quantifies global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from aquaculture, and explains how cost-effectiveness analysis could be used to appraise GHG mitigation measures – thereby contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action), while supporting SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

In deze studie worden de broeikasgasemissies van de aquacultuur gekwantificeerd en wordt uitgelegd hoe kosteneffectiviteitsanalyses kunnen worden gebruikt om broeikasgasemissiereductiemaatregelen te beoordelen – en zo bij te dragen tot duurzame-ontwikkelingsdoelstelling 13 (klimaatactie) en tegelijk SDG 2 (geen honger) en SDG 8 (fatsoenlijk werk en economische groei) te ondersteunen.
